AN ORDER PROMOTING 4 PM HABIT AND STRENGHTENING BARANGAY INITIATIVE AGAINST

THE SPREAD OF DENGUE.

WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Lasam is promoting the 4 PM habit of cleaning
surroundings and destroying breeding places of mosquitoes to help the battle against Dengue Fever;

WHEREAS, all barangay officials are encouraged to promote and widely disseminate the 4 PM
Habit;

WHEREAS, sirens and ringing of bells from schools, barangay halls, churches, Bureau of Fire
Protection, and MDRRMO during 4:00 PM will remind people of their obligation to clean their respective
barangays.

WHEREAS, all barangay health workers are required to submit accomplishment reports on the
implementation of their 4 PM Habit to the Municipal Health Office.

NOW THEREFORE, I, MARJORIE APIL-SALAZAR, Municipal Mayor of Lasam, Cagayan by virtue of

the power vested in me by law do hereby order the promotion of the 4 PM habit and strengthening
barangay initiative against the spread of dengue.

Section 1. Effectivity. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
