To list who all have helped the trainee is difficult because they are so numerous and the depth
is so enormous. The trainee would like to acknowledge the following as being idealistic
channels and fresh dimensions in the completion of this project.
The trainee takes this opportunity to thank the Mithibai College for giving her chance to do
this project.

Trainee take this opportunity to thank her Coordinator Ms.Shabana Khan, for her moral
support and guidance. She would also like to express gratitude towards her project guide

Trainee was fortunate to have an opportunity to undergo the “internship” at Sagar Foods Pvt.
Ltd. The internship was very useful for her in understanding the various aspects of Trade
Marketing.
Lastly, the trainee would like to thank each and every person who directly or indirectly
helped her in the completion of the project especially her parents and peers who supported
her throughout the project.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
As a part of the trainee’s undergraduate program B.M.S, specialization of Marketing, she had
undertaken an Internship at Topline Resort during the time period 15th May to 15th June 2018.
Topline Resort is a Hotel Indusrty, with its corporate office in Dhule. The operations of
Topline Resort are booking rooms for the travellers, organising functions like weddings, baby
showers, giving their premises on rent and many more.
This internship project contains the introduction to the company and the services provided by
the firm, the trainee interned with. It includes the detailed analysis of the content she got to
learn, like – functioning of advertisements strategies, financing strategies made by each
department and role of each department. The main objective of this internship was to learn
about dynamics of advertising and marketing. It also helps inculcate discipline and helped her
follow a particular code of conduct which is followed by the internship company.
The work culture in Topline Resort is very professional and flexible. Hence it is a place
where any person would like to work.
In the reports I have written all my experiences good and challenges very
generously. Overall it was an exciting experience and I have learned a lot from
this internship.
This internship report contains all the data which the trainee was able to comprehend during
the internship period.

CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
The history of hotels is very old when people started to make inns for the travelers, since the
beginning of time, people have traveled for commerce, religion, family, health,immigration,
education and recreation.
Then on, more hotels were built and this gave birth to the hospitality industry which also led
to the classification with the star system. The star system was assessed by: the price, the
hotel's standard of service, and the hotel's facilities offered.
The hotel Topline Resort is located in in city’s bustling business district DHULE. It
welcomes both business and leisure travellers. A s you will see from the moment you arrive,
the hotel offers striking views of hills which it is surrounded by. Guest rooms that combine
classic luxury with contemporary business tools. And a level of service that's a step beyond
other hotels.
Hotel Topline Resort sets the standards for expericing the hospitality with quality and
sophistication on a luxurious scale and create the ultimate legacy of distribution of future
guests.
Guestrooms are elegantly appointed with oak wood furniture, the finest of fabrics and lavish
amnities.Luxurious feathers enhanced sleep systems include down comforters,feather beds
and400 threads count triple sheeting in each of the sixty –four guest room that will welcome
the weary traveler. Among the spetial features of resort are its 64 elegantly furnished rooms
with deluxe, premium rooms, and executive suit.
Topline Resort is spread over 3 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds adorned with
majestic palm trees, shimmering fountains, winding brick pathways and picturesque stone
gazebos. Enchanting lighting lends an aura of irresistible romance and mystique to this
unique location, perched high above the city of Dhule. The spectacular view will leave you
breathless while providing a superb backdrop for truly memorable occasions, whether
weddings, corporate events, or cultural celebrations. Lawns has a choice of two lawn areas
and two indoor halls, including an air conditioned hall, with separate dining areas. The

The resort has many departments, but there are 4 main departments of it:
Food and Beverages Department, Housekeeping Service, Kitchen Department, Front
Office Department. The Front Office Department is further classified in Marketing and
Finance Departments.
My job was their was an internee is sales & marketing department, which is making
reservation and listening phone calls. But I have learned much more in showing my intention
towards learning the function of other departments , likes finance department and front office
by standing on the reception.
LOCATION ADVANTAGE
Dhule is the regional headquarters of MIDC, RTO, and MTDC. Dhule is largely
emerging as one of the upcoming hubs of textile, edible oil, and power-loom across
the state. It has gained a strategic advantage for being on the junction of three
National Highways namely NH-6 (Surat-Nagpur), NH-3 (Mumbai-Agra) and NH-211
(Dhule-Solapur) and enjoys advantage of excellent connectivity to ports and
hinterland. It is on the most anticipated Manmad - Indore Rail Project.
