Dear Engr. Iglesia,

Greetings from the City of Passi.

This is in response to your letter dated 06 May 2019 pertaining to our request to extend the
implementation and liquidation of the Road Concreting of Imbang Grande to Shell Gas Station
project, Passi City, Iloilo, which was funded under the DILG’s 2015 Performance Challenge Fund
(PCF) Program amounting to ₱5 million.

We respectfully inform your good office that the preliminary hearing for Complaint for
Ejectment, which was filed against the unauthorized occupant where the project is being
implemented, was just held today. Anent to the said hearing, an order issued referring to the
case for mediation on 30 May 2019 at PMC Unit, Dumangas, Iloilo (attached as Annex A is a
copy of the court order).

We are expecting that a decision may be issued on or before 31 August 2019 and the project
implementation will be conducted as soon as possible. We commit to fully liquidate the amount
within the year.

We also profusely apologize in the delay of submission of the Catch-up Plan/Implementation

Schedule for the project considering that we only receive your letter on 14 May 2019. Please
see Annex B for the copy of the Catch-up Plan/Implementation Schedule.
