1 Conduit material/accessories as per project specification

Surface mounted conduits shall be laid in straight lines with neat bends &

3 No conduit shall have more than two right angle bends without a draw-in box

Conduit shall be installed in accordance with manufacturer's installation

5 All conduits shall be installed with fish wires to permit ease of wiring

Conduits shall be fastened with heavy duty spacing saddles fixed at intervals

not exceeding 1.2m
Check if underground conduit bending radius not less than cable

manufacturer bending radius.
9 Check if underground conduit is not less than 2 inch diameter

10 Check if underground conduit rising from ground has concrete encasement

11 Proper sockets/bushes shall be provided for conduit entry to enclosures.

12 Cables shall run in conduit with min space factor of 40%

Damaged coating shall be properly repaired with protective paint as per

project specifications.
All metallic conduit couplings/joints shall be properly repaired with protective
14
paint as per project specifications.
15 Conduit in plaster/concrete shall be secured by holdfasts or crampits
