I. Objectives
After discussing the lesson at the end of one-hour discussion, the students will be able to:
apply the lesson on certain situations, construct basic greetings and polite expressions on their
own, and evaluate the importance of the lesson on a daily lifestyle.

III. Procedure
A. Motivation
The teachers will discuss the way how they should introduce their selves and inspire
them to present in front through showing simple videos of kids introducing their selves
properly.

B. Activity
The teachers will act as citizens of different ages while students will react
appropriately on certain situations with basic greetings and polite expressions. The teachers
will also provide a worksheet for the activity, this is a practice for the students on
determining how to respond and greet when it is morning, afternoon, evening, and etc.

C. Lesson Proper

Teacher will introduce the topic and will ask the student if they are familiar with it.
It is very important to learn polite expressions and greeting for our daily life. Polite words
like please, thank you, and excuse me make other people feel appreciated and respected.
IV. Evaluation
The teachers will discuss the following scenarios, while students will show the appropriate polite
words to use in each situation.
1. Your Grandmother gives you a puppy for your birthday.
2. Your best friend tells you your new shoes look really cool.
3. You want someone to pass you the salt, which is at the far end of the table.
4. You burp or sneeze in the middle of a conversation with your teacher.
5. You see your classmate trip and fall.
