The researchers would like to give their warm heart-felt gratitude to the persons which
give their knowledge regarding this project and helped to conduct this for the success of
the researchers.

The parents, which gave their full support to the researchers through expenses, time
and efforts.

The classmates and friends of the researchers, which are always there for them and
also contribute ideas and thoughts.

To the researcher’s subject teacher, Sir Nigel O. Bolanio, for sharing his ideas and
knowledge for this project and understanding the researchers for the failures in
conducting this study.

Last but not the least, to our dear God, for guiding and protecting the researchers

Abstract
Can banana peelings be an alternative source in making floor
wax?

The study shows that, it's possible to mix raw wax crystals and
kerosene with banana peels to create a substance suitable for
use polishing your wooden floors. This home-made floor wax will
give a comparable shine and smoothness to your wooden floor,
and the oil in the kerosene counteracts the banana peel's
stickiness to ensure the finished shine isn't tacky. And it also
environmental friendly, cause you can minimize garbage to your
surroundings. And also insect repellent cause of the kerosene
odors so, its not only for shinning floor, also avoiding the insects
to live in our surroundings. So it cost less of money.
Materials needed are banana peelings, used candles, technical
dye, kerosene, empty big can of milk, strainer and container for
finish product.
Procedures are, first, About 250 grams of banana peelings. Slice
into small pieces, Set aside. Second, using empty big can of milk,
put on low fire and Melt 250 grams of used candles. Mixed until all
is melted. Third, turn of the fire. And put half glass of kerosene
into the melted candle. Fourth, Put on the low fire again. And put
the sliced banana peeling. Mixed every now and then until the 15
minutes. Fifth, if desired put a little technical dye. To change the
color or the mixture. Sixth, Transfer the mixture to an empty
container use the strainer to separate the banana peelings and let
it cool. And lastly, you’re ready to apply in the floor for waxing.

It can only use in wood floors or wood structures.

Introduction

Floor waxing is essential to maintain the shiny gloss of wooden

floors and wooden structures. However, as of now, our country is
facing critical crisis, if you find buying ready-made floor wax its,
prohibitively expensive. So this came out, problem of budget. And
we made a research which we think this will solve a little. Banana
peeling floor wax is made of mostly reused materials that can help
the users and consumers to save money, and it is less harmful to
the environment compared to the commercial floor wax that has
many chemicals that is harmful to the environment and also to the
ones who is using it. This study will find out of how banana
peelings can be an alternative source in making floor wax, how
safe is the banana peeling floor wax for the environment and its
users, and how efficient is banana peeling floor wax than common
synthetic floor wax.
Statement of the Problem

Can banana peelings be an alternative source in making floor

wax?

Hypothesis
1. If the banana peelings can’t be an alternative source in
making floor wax, then it cannot be used as an alternative
ingredient for common synthetic floor wax.
2. If the banana peelings can be an alternative source in
making floor wax, then it can be used as an alternative
ingredient for common synthetic floor wax.

Objective

At the end of this project we will share this product to all of you so
that you can save mother earth, and save money for other
necessities.
Significant of the study
This study can give benefits to the people, especially to the poor
ones, to have good business and also to save money for their
other needs, especially in schools, it will give them benefits to the
students as well as their parents to save money.

Scope and Limitations

This study is only limited for the investigation of banana used as
an alternative source for floor wax making. The researchers
chose this study for further investigation if the banana can be an
effective source for floor wax. It can only use in wooden floors.
Review of Related Literature
According to Phd Essay 1. If the banana can’t be an
alternative source in making floor wax, then it cannot be used as
