THE EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT TEACHING STYLES TO THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF

STEM STUDENTS IN OUR LADY OF FATIMA UNIVERSITY

Statement of the Problem

Every now and then teachers have been creating different ways to deliver the lesson and
information to the students; teachers used various gestures, visual aids and PowerPoint presentations
for better understanding. In line with the foregoing discussion, the researchers aimed to address the
advantages and disadvantages of the different teaching methods to study habits of the Senior High
School students in Our Lady of Fatima University with the following:

1.) What are the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of


1.1 Age;
1.2 Gender; and
1.3 Strand (Stem)
2.) What is the evaluation of the respondents towards teaching methods in terms of the ff:
2.1 Traditional way
2.2 Modern way
3.) What is the academic performance of the respondents in terms of G.W.A?
4.) Is there a significant relationship between teaching methods and study habits of the
respondents?
