Cooking Contest

A cooking competition among seven (7) sections of Hermenegilda F. Gloria


Memorial High School was held last July 30, 2019 to mark the local celebration of
Nutrition Month.

Following the theme “Kumain nang wasto at maging aktibo… Push natin ‘to!” each
representatives were tasked to prepare healthy meals. The challenge of the
competition is they must not include artificial seasonings such as “Magic Sarap”,
Monosodium glutamate, etc. Additionally, all participants are required to use
traditional way of cooking.

The students from Grade 9 – Vergara namely Rea Palen and Radim Beclay excel in
the competition with their appetizing and delicious Tinolang Manok using whole
native chicken.

This event does not only promote healthy living but also a way to showcase the
skills of H.F.G.M.H.S students.
