C. Apply the roles in stage production by making a scenario

Content Standards
 How theatrical elements (sound, music, gesture, movement, and costume) affect the creation
and communication of meaning in Philippine Festival and theatrical forms as influenced by
history and culture.
Learning Competencies
 Research on the history of the festival and theatrical composition and its evolution, and
describe how the townspeople participate and contribute to the event.
 Design the visual elements and components of the selected festival or theatrical form through
costumes, props, etc.

II. SUBJECT MATTER


A. Topic: Non-religious Festival “Panagbenga Festival”.
B. Reference: Learning Material of Grade 7 “Music & Arts”, google.com, youtube.com
C. Materials: Projector, Laptop, Speaker, Art materials.

Let the students think about the names of flower shows in the projector.
C. Lesson Proper
1. Discuss the history of Panagbenga Festival.
2. Watch the PANAGBENGA 2016 Baguio Flower Festival Grand Float Parade.
3. Create a different flower design with the use of art materials.
D. Analysis
1. What are the bases in celebrating Panagbenga Festival?
2. Does having a particular Panagbenga festival benefit the community economically and
socially?
E. Application
Let the students create an artistic designs of flowers using colored papers and art
materials.
