To elaborate, films are used to enhance learning among children as various type of culture and traditions are shown in movies which help them to understand the theoretical school subjects more precisely. Secondly, movies also act as stress buster for youngsters. In the present school life students have numerous subjects and really have a hectic work schedule, so when they come home and watch movies of their favourite stars, they feel relaxed and relieved from daily stress of their studies. On the downside, children can be negatively affected by movies in various ways. In movies, children can be negatively affected by watching particular offensive scenes. Illustrating it, some movies contain violence drug abuse and offensive language which can really put bad impact on children’s behaviour. Subsequently, watching too many movies can astray children from their main aims. Because watching too many movies can impede the development of healthy habits like playing outdoor games, reading and spending quality time with family. Children who are avid film viewers are more likely to suffer from obesity related problems throughout their lives. In conclusion, I reckon that everything has its pros and cons, movies too can have both – good and bad influences. It is very important for parents to check the movie ratings before allowing their children to watch any movies. The best thing for parents could be to watch movies with their children. Watching movies together could be very rewarding experience, and then the effects can be largely positive.
