Job Interview Questions and Answer

1. Tell me about yourself.


My name is Muhammad Marozi Effendi, you can call me Ozi, I am twenty years old. I
have graduated from State Polytechnic of Malang majoring in Electrical Engineering.
When I was in Junior High School, I liked electro lessons because there are several
aspects like calculation and analysis about electrical circuit so I like that.

2. What are your strengths?


My strengths are I loved calculate and analysis about electrical power system. Because
there are many things to learn such as electrical circuit, short circuit current and ect.

3. What are your weakness, please specify each of three?


Time management used to be a bit of a problem for me, not that I was always late but
rather that I often took on too many tasks to complete at once. I went on a time
management course and learned to apply a simple prioritisation and scheduling plan to
all my projects. Since doing that I find I always get things done on time.

4. How would your best friend describe you?


My best friend would probably say that I am good in calculation and analysis about
electrical. Also he might say that I am humorous person.

5. Why should we hire you?


Because I can help the company when something goes wrong in electrical system and I
can handle it quickly.

6. Why do you want to work for this company?


Because you company is on the cutting edge of technology and you are the industry
leader.

7. What do you know about our company?


Yes, your company is a company that engaged in electrical services.

8. Why do you want this position?


Because it pays more and the position offers more responsibility, challenges and
interesting opportunities.

9. Can you work with a team and under pressure ?


Yes I can, I also don’t think it’s a pressure because it’s the responsibility of my work and
it’s also a great change to improve the quality of myself.

10. If you were accepted, how much salary you were expected?
I am apply for this position because I think this is my passion. I don’t really consider
about the salary as long as it is reflect on my ability and work achievement. I believe that
this company will appreciate the employee by giving the proper salary.

11. What can we expect from you in your first three months?
On my first three months I will adapted with my new environment while work hard to
get best on every given tasks.

12. Do you work better alone or as part of a team?


I prefer working with a team but I also enjoy working individually.

13. What do you have previous job when college student?


No, I don’t have a jon when I was in college, because I am just focus with my study. But
I have scholarship from campus and it’s help me very much.

14. Why did you choose Electrical major?


I choose that because I know people who graduated from electrical major has a big
opportunity to apply in many companies.

15. Do you consider yourself to be organised? Do you manage your time well?
I manage my time very well, I routinely complete tasks ahead of schedule.

16. Why did you leave your last job?


After five years with My previous Company, I felt I had gained all the skills and
experience possible from that role. I am now looking for a growth opportunity where I
can take on more responsibility and add value to a company.
17. What are your goals for the future?
Certainly i want to have high position, have many friends who have high discipline and
full responsibility.

18. Where do you see yourself in five years?


In five years I’d like to have an even better understanding of this industry. Also, I really
love working with people. Ultimately, I’d like to be in some type of managerial role at
this company, where I can use my people skills and industry knowledge to benefit the
people working for me, and the company as a whole.

19. How do you explain your gap in employment?


My work is important to me, so I won’t be satisfied with any old job. Instead of rushing
to accept the first thing that comes my way, I’m taking my time and being selective to
make sure my next role is the right one.

20. Why are you leaving your current role?


I’ve learned a lot from my current role, but now I’m looking for a new challenge, to
broaden my horizons and to gain a new skill, I see the potential for in this job.

21. Why would you be the right choice for this position?
Because I am graduated from Electrical Engineering, and this work is my dream.

22. When were you most satisfied in your job?


I was most satisfied when I did well, and I can adapt with another people who work in
there.

23. What do you think of your previous boss?


My last boss taught me the importance of time. His no-nonsense attitude pushed me to
work harder, and I never even thought were possible.

24. Do you have the other skill that will support your career?
I am good in computer skill such as Office, AutoCAD and Electrical Design such as
electric motor control.
25. What motivates you?
Because my mother is a single parents and my father was passed away five years ago, so
I want to make them proud of what I’m doing now.
