You can take as long as you need to complete this task. You can read the task
instructions with an adult but try to complete the work without their help. You can
refer back to your lesson notes and worksheets. You will be given a total of 18 marks
for this part of the assignment.

Make a poster or presentation about social media. You can use pen and paper or
type it up in a Word document or PowerPoint presentation.

In your poster or presentation, make sure you:

• explain what social media is;

• give 2 examples of how people can benefit from using social media in
everyday life;
(2 marks)
• give 3 examples of social media threats and explain what they are;

You will get 3 extra marks for correct spelling and punctuation, and for putting your
ideas in your own words rather than copying text from your notes.
