SUBJECT: DISTRICT YES-O RE-ORIENTATION AND LAUNCH OF

ENVIRONMENTAL ADVOCACY CAMPAIGN

DATE: September 2, 2019

In reference to Division Memorandum No. 14-0173 dated July 05, 2019, Angono
District shall conduct a re-orientation of the YES-O Program on September 3, 2019,
1:00 in the afternoon at Angono Elementary School Library. Said orientation aims to:
a. Revisit DepEd Order No. 72 s. 2003, Establishment of the Youth for
Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) Program and DepEd Order
No. 49 s. 2011, Mandated Programs, Projects and Activities of the Supreme
Student Government and DepEd Order No. 52 s. 2011, Strengthening
Environmental Education in Public and Private Schools;
b. Launch a District-wide advocacy campaign to help address environmental
concerns and;
c. Elect YES-O district focal persons for the elementary and municipal focal
persons for the secondary level.
There shall be a registration fee of fifty pesos per participant to cover expenses for
snacks.
Widest dissemination of this memorandum is earnestly desired.
