ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
I. Title of Activity : Conduct of CY 2019 2 nd Quarter National Simultaneous
Drill (NSED)
A. School Earthquake and Fire Drill Symposium
B. Awareness on Disaster Preparedness for students
through first aid training and lecture.

IV. Budget Proposal: Six Thousand Pesos ( P 6,000.00)

V. Funding Source: 2019 MOOE / GAD Fund / PTA Fund

VI. Duration : June 20 , 2019 at 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

VII. Rationale:

As per Dep. Ed Order No. 48 s. 2012 , Quarterly Conduct of the National School Based Earth Quake
and Fire Drills , The Department of Education with partner agencies , the Department of National Defense
(DND) , members of National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council ( NDRRMC) , all Public and
Private Schools and Dep. Ed Offices will undertake the Quarterly Conduct of the National School Based Earth
Quake and Fire Drills , will be on June 20 , 2019 at 2:00 pm.

In one way or another , these activity would somehow enable to capacitate the LGU , PTA Officers ,
barangay Council , teachers , and school administration in fostering good relationship between them
through SDRRM and DRRM plan of activities through lectures and drill and encourage students to
participate in the said activities.

VIII. Objectives :
1. Inculcate in the mind of learners and Dep. Ed Personnels the knowledge and skills necessary to
prepare for and mitigate and prevent the effects of earthquake.
2. Evaluate the readiness and awareness of Dep. Ed learners and personnel for earth quake and fire
drill.
3. Evaluate the evacuation procedures , coordination and communications mechanisms and
response
 IX. Activity Description and Management:
The first activity gave a usual orientation and lecture about the disaster preparedness and
resilient . A total of less or more 400 students from Junior High School to Senior High School ,
SSG Officers , Girl Scout of the Philippines , 5 from Brgy . council , 6 PTA officers , 19 Teachers ,
10 from MDRRM Council and 10 from Fire Brigade Team are expected to attend. The second
activity will start with earthquake drill and fire drill and all teachers and students are expected
to participate and response properly.
The foregoing activities will be facilitated by the MDRRMC ,BDRRMC and SDRRMC with
funding support from School funds / PTA / GAD / School Canteen

X. Budgetary Requirements :
Day 1 Meal Allowance ( 20 pax @ 200.00 / pax ) inclusive of 1 lunch and 2 snacks.
