II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

A. Brief Summary of the Project

This propose Livelihood Piglet Dispersal Project addresses the aim of the
Municipality of Tantangan to provide a considerable increase in the income of
the identified beneficiaries’ and help them uplift their living situation through
the help of the Barangay Council of Barangay New Iloilo by availing the
Provincial Government of South Cotabato’s Support to Pilot Barangays
Program under the Barangay Affairs Unit.

B. Project Goals and Objectives

In general, this project has the objective of helping the barangay constituents
of Barangay New Iloilo by giving them an additional income generating activity
for them to sustain their basic needs and their children’s education if the
program will be properly managed.

C. Project Partners

Project Partners include the identified beneficiaries, the Barangay Council and
the staff of Provincial Governor’s Office - Barangay Affairs Unit (PGO-BAU).
