PROJECT UNDERTAKEN DURING CERTIFICATION

• Credit Risk Analyst- This Capstone Project required to be a Credit Card Risk Analyst for a
company, where core responsibility was to analyse the credit card customers and categorizing them
into risk brackets. To identify the level of risk that a customer carries based on the available data. To
look for the customers that are at high risk of defaulters, which ones should be blacklisted, and those
that will bring maximum money to the business. An accurate customer risk assessment helped in
acquiring the most profitable consumers while minimizing risk.
Using analytical tools like Excel and SQL for proper assessment of customers that bring maximum
profit in the company as depending on the analysis decisions have to be taken for which
Customer’s credit limit should be increased and for whom it should be reduced as they are riskier for
the company.
Using business intelligence tool Power BI for better visualization of data that helps in bringing out the
data on which decisions can be made without going through the entire data.
Power BI helped in easily identifying the customers that are riskier for the company and what actions
should be taken on the reports created. Created dashboard to show the most important and relevant
data which resulted in effective and efficient decisions.
