Definisi:

Past perfect adalah suatu tense yang menggambarkan suatu kejadian yang
tejadi sebelum satu spesifik waktu di masa lampau juga.

Pola:

(+) Subject + had + verb 3

(-) Subject + had + not + verb 3

(?) Had + subject + verb 3

Contoh:

(+) My mother had slept before I came

(-) My mother had not slept before Icame

(?) Had my mother slept before I came ?

Artinya:

Ibuku telah tidur sebelum saya datang.

(+) Rina had finished it when he came her house

(-) Rina had not finished it when he came her house

(?) Had Rina finished it when he came her house ?

Artinya:

Rina telah menyelesaikanya ketika dia datang kerumahnya.

(+) She had eaten when I called her

 (-) She had not eaten when I called her

(?) Had she eaten when I called her ?

Artinya:

Dia telah makan ketika saya memanggilnya.

(+) Yuna had read the book two times

(-) Yuna had not read the book two times

Artinya:

Artinya:

2.) PRESENT PERFECT

Definisi:

Present perfect adalah suatu tense yang menggambarkan suatu kejadian

yang terjadi sebelum suatu spesifik waktu di masa lalu tapi masih berlanjut
sampai sekarang.
 Pola:

(+) Subject + have/has + verb 3

(-) Subject + have/has + not + verb 3

(?) Have/has + subject + verb

Contoh:

(+) They have lived in Jakarta for a long time

(-) They have not lived in Jakarta for a long time

(?) Have they lived in Jakarta for a long time ?

Artinya:

Mereka sudah lama tinggal di jakarta.

(+) He has learned english for one year

(-) He has not learned english for one year

(?) Has he learned english for one year ?

Artinya:

Dia telah belajar bahasa inggris selama satu tahun

(+) He has worked here for several years

(-) He has not worked here for several years

(?) For how long has he worked here ?

Artinya:
 Dia telah bekerja di sini selama satu tahun.

(+) He has worked here since june

(-) He has not worked here since june

(?) Since when has he worked here ?

Artinya:

Dia telah bekerja di sini sejak Juni

(+) I read the novel

(-) I read not the novel

(?) Have I read the novel ?

Artinya:

Saya sudah membaca novel

3.) FUTURE PERFECT

Definisi:

Future perfect adalah suatu bentuk kata kerja di gunakan untuk

mengungkapakan bahwa suatu aktivitas akan sudah selesai pada titik waktu di
masa depan.

Pola:

(+) Subject + will + have + verb 3

(-) Subject + will + not + have + verb 3

(?) will + subject + have + verb 3

Contoh:

(+) You will have finished your report by this time next week.

(-) You will not have finished your report by this time next week

(?) Will you have finished your report by this time next week ?

Artinya;

Anda akan menyelesaikan laporan anda minggu depan.

(+) You will have eaten when I pick up

(-) You will not have eaten when I pick u

Artinya:

Anda akan makan ketika saya mengambil

(+) You will have done your work by tomorrow

(-) You will not have done your work by tomorrow

Artinya:

Anda akan melakukan pekerjaan anda besok

(+) I will have booked the flight ticked by the time she asks me

Artinya:

Saya akan memesankan penerbangan yang sudah lewat pada saat dia
bertanya kepada saya.
