A.Preparation:
Setting of Standards/Agreement
B.Drill:
(Flashcard drill on recognizing numbers from 0-6.
(The teacher will flash the cards and the class will identify the numeral shown.)
C.Motivation:
(Teacher will show the pupils with different fruits . Let them pick and let the
pupils count.)
Follow up questions:
1. Where did mother go this morning?
2. What did she buy?
3. How many bananas did she buy? oranges? mangoes?
(The teacher will post the fruits bought from the mother. Using number card
let the pupils count the number of each fruit and let them put the
corresponding numeral beside it.)
In the given sets of objects, how did you get the accurate numeral which
corresponds to the number of objects in each set?
(Teacher will then explain on how to come up with the accurate numeral
from the given sets of objects.)
E. Exercises:

The teacher will post set of objects and let the pupils show its correct numeral.
