Enquiry. No. / 2018-19 Dt. has been floated for Firms for
–- Estimate for Eos to 2 Nos Agriculture shifting in Melapattu and periyavenmani village , 1 No Fast
track thadco Agl sc in Pakkur village, 6 Nos Replacement of Damaged conductor in Periyavenmani Spur
line in respect of AE / O&M / Cheyyur II section of this Sub-Division.
Out of the above firms, three firms have quoted the rate and the rates quoted by them
for various items are compared and the comparative statement is enclosed herewith. FROM THE
Comparative statement it is submitted that M/S SSS Enterprises no 81/1,Bajanai koil street Puthur ,
Cheyyur TK , Kancheepuram District pin 603 311 has Quoted the lowest and the same has been
recommended for execution of K2 agreement.
Further it is submitted that the quoted rates have not exceeded the labour rates
approved by the Superintending Engineer/CEDC/Chengalpattu in the reference (4) cited.
As per the Tender regulation, the EEs are empowered to execute work contract under
K2 agreement not exceeding to the amount of Rs.1,00,000/- under limited tender system, delegated
vide Table VII of B.P No 10 dt 7.4.2003. The value of this contract now proposed to be executed is
Rs.89640/- which is well within the delegated amount i.e. Rs.100000/- .
As the Available RWE staff are allocated with regular maintenance works such as
Operation and Maintenance of DTs and lines, replacement of Meters, disconnection of services, and
other minor works etc., to complete these works and avoid untoward incidents and long pending
works, it is requested that K2 agreement may kindly be executed and approval may be accorded to
carry out the works through M/S SSS Enterprises no 81/1,Bajanai koil street Puthur , Cheyyur TK ,
Kancheepuram District pin 603 31 at K2 agreement rate please.
