TL Peta (V) Enkoor (M) – Request for according Permission – Reg.

With reference to the above cited, it is to submit that vide the reference cited, the
farmer of TutukuLinganna Peta village of Enkoor Mandal has requested for permission to
transport silt from Pedda Cheruvu to their agricultural lands in Enkoor (M).
I have inspected the tanks and the fields/survey numbers mentioned in the
applications, along with the AE, Enkoor section and the following observations are made.

The Capacity of Pedda Cheruvu, TutukaLinganna Peta village is 16.00 Mcft and
Ayacut is 220 Acrs, Observed that 9000cum of silt available in Peddachervu.
As such it is requested to give permission to above farmers for lifting and transporting
silt from Peddacheruvu Tank in TutukuLingannaPeta (V) Enkoor (M) with below conditions
1. Depth of excavation should be limited to 0.6m (2 feet)
2. Excavation to be carried out beyond 30m from tank bund portion.
3. Silt transported should be used for agricultural purpose only.
4. Silt should not be dumped inside the FTL and buffer zone of the tanks.
5. Loading should take place from 8:00 Am to 5:00PM only.
6. Permission Valid for 10 days.
7. Prior intimation should be given to concerned filed level irrigation staff before
sating transporting silt from the tank.
Hence I request the Executive Engineer to kindly appraise the above to the
Superintending Engineer, Irrigation Circle, Khammam for according permission for silt
transportation to the above Ryoths imposing other conditions if any.
This is submitted for favor of kind information for taking further necessary action.
