2. Scope: All Substations of TE /Electrical

1 To go inside the S/S and near Panel to watch for any abnormal
sound.
2 To switch off the AB switch.
3 Checking the oil leakage from the transformer. If the leakage is
found, it is recorded & HT section is to be informed for
replacing the gasket and/or to top up the transformer oil if
needed.
4 Checking of the heating of connecting points at bushes, AB
switches and DO fuse posts on HT side. If any abnormality
found, HT section is to be informed for rectification.
5 Checking the heating of Lugs, connections and Cables in the LT
chamber of the Transformer.
6 Checking of LT Breakers/Switches for its operation.
7 Checking of the heating of insulation of LT cables originating
from feeder switches.
8 Routine cleaning of S/S for dirt & debris to be done.

things must be taken care of-
- Check that the wire connections at the street
light conductors are tight.
- Check that the wire connections at the street
light fittings are tight.
- Check that the wire connections at both ends

not rusted.
- Check that the wire is healthy.
- Check that the holder points are not loose and
rusted.
