A. DEFINITION OF ABORTION (SICI)
Abortion is the medical process of ending a pregnancy so it doesn’t result
in the birth of a baby. A lot of country make a policy that abortion is a ilegal
medical procedure. Although abortion is ilegal, many teenagers do this abortion
when they got unplanned or unwanted pregnancy. In this era, abortion is like
common case in our environment, especially for teenagers. Many fact says that
abortion choosen by some teenagers as the last choice to end their pregnancy.

When the teenagers want to end their pregnancy, teenagers have two
choiches. First choice is abortion by medical and the second choice is by surgical.
However, both of the types of abortion are dangerous for the woman. They can
break reproduction system because of the abortion. They can also break the
responsibility to their God.

B. THE FACTORS WHY ABORTION CAN HAPPEN (RD. AYU SAKINAH)

There are several factors that can cause abortion among teenagers. first is
the family, if the teenager less supervision of the family then he will feel free so
will choose a free association. or a family that is not harmonious so that he will
seek life outside or look for an environment that can receive it. Second is the
environment of teenagers wrong in choosing the association and to be accepted in
the environment he will make adjustments or conformity, if the environment is
not good then he will be a bad person.

C. THE EFFECT OF ABORTION FOR TEENGERS (AMELIA STEVANY)

The biggest effect from this problem is abortion causes sin to God. It will make
a broken future of the teeneger. The environment will make a mark on teenagers
who have had an abortion. On the other hand, abortion may cause many
negative effects for women’s health. Women risk their health and lives in bearing
the weight of the operation and its consequences. The most common
complications are inflammation, interruption of menstrual patterns, infertility,
endometriosis, myoma of the uterus, and many other kinds of ovary illnesses.
D. ROLE OF SOCIAL WORKER IN THE TEENAGERS ABORTION CASE

The role of social workers to solve the abortion problem are social workers
can help to knowledge the teenegars who already be the agent of abortion, social
workers can knowledge the demands of abortion. The social workers also can be
problem solver, help the teenegars listen to all the complaints, and than looking
for solution. Moreover the social workers can motivate the teenegars to be a good
people who don’t violate the rule. If the abortion already happened the social
workers can be fasilitator to identificate the background why the teenegars do it,
do the assessment, and then design the solution. The social workers should take
care of the confidential.
The family and the community can also prevent the abortion. The family can
pay attention to child development knowing the intercourse of the child, always
advise his son to be a good person, provide a value of norms and knowledge a
good ethics. Don’t be a parents who too busy and forget the role as a parents. The
community can be agent of control, a good community can create a good people.
The community should protect the subject of abortion. Don’t isolate the subject,
but the community should motivate to be agood people and don’t underestimate to
the subjet because it can make the subject more streesful. If the streesful happen
can create big impact the example is kill them self. Anyone find the abortion
should knowledge and provide how the impact and demands of abortion, don’t
isolate and understand the condition.
