Polonuling NHS bags first prize in Drum and Lyre competition

TUPI, SOUTH COTABATO--- People vented in cheer after the Polonuling National High School were
announced champion of the Agten Tufi Drum and Lyre Competition at the Tupi Municipal Gymnasium
last September 6, 2019.

Aside from winning the championship, the Polonuling NHS Drum and Lyre Corps was also awarded as
the Best in Costume, Best in Musicality, Best in Choreography and went home with the cash prize of
P25,000.

The Drum and Lyre Corp from Tupi NHS who was awarded as champions during the 2018 Drum and Lyre
competition got the first runner up while the 2nd runner up went to the Matutum View Academy.

The competition was divided into two categories: the Elementary category, composed of students from
grades one to six; and the High School category, students from grades 7 to twelve.

PNHS is hoping that they will get the same title next year as they aim to claim the grand slam title in the
2021 Agten Tufi Festival.

Polonuling NHS acquires SBM Level III

July 12, 2019 ---- Students, Parents, 4Ps, Stakeholders, Brgy and Municipal Officials and school
administrators headed by.Bernabe H. Palma Jr Principal IV-RTDNHS, with Domingo S. Halique Assistant
Principal and teaching staff and other municipal linkages greet the guests with a smile.

Quality Assurance Validation was piloted by the Regional Validators of the Deped Regional Office
through perusing the documents in the Polonuling NHS, SBM Hub.

Everybody was nervous waiting for the results of the 4 Principles which encompasses the 40% of
the SBM-PASBE to wit:
Principle 1 - Leadership and Governance (insert score)
Principle 2 - Curriculum and Instruction (insert score)
Principle 3 - Accountability and Continuous Improvement (insert score)
Principle 4 - Management of Resources ((insert score)
While documents of 60% is from the EBEIS and SRC where it obtain a total of ______ points.
Overall, the rating obtained by RTDNHS is LEVEL III "ADVANCED" with a score of __________.
