Detailed Lesson Plan in Physics 7

I. Objective: At the end of the lesson, students are expected to:


a. identify the different parts of the human ears;
b. differentiate ultrasonic frequencies and infrasonic frequencies;
c. trace the the passage of sound in our ears; and
d. cite the importance of taking good care of our ears.

1. Drill
Class, before we begin our new lesson,
we will first have a game called “You Sound
Familiar”.
Everybody should participate, Okay? Yes, teacher!

I will divide you into four (4) groups. This


will be group 1, group 2, group 3 and group 4.
All you have to do is guess the correct sound
that is played on speaker. You will write your
answer in the slit board. The group with the
highest number of sounds guessed will be
declared as the winner.

B. Presentation of New Lesson


a. Motivation
Class, before we begin our new lesson,
we will first have a game called “Complete
Me”.
Everybody should participate, Okay?

Very good!

I have here four (4) envelopes containing


cut-out pictures. I will group you into four (4)
groups. All you have to do is to assemble the
puzzled picture in your seats and paste it in a
manila paper that is also found inside the
envelope then tack your assembled picture on
the board. I will only give you two (2) minutes
to finish. Only one representative in each
group is allowed to tack your work on the
board.

The first group to finish will be declared


as the winner. Am I understood, class?

IV. EVALUATION
This time, we will have a “Quiz Bowl” by
group. You will write your answers in the slit
that I will provide in each group. You have to
answer the questions that I will read twice.

There will be 5 questions and each


question is worth 1 point. You have 10
seconds for you to answer and you will raise
your answers after I say “STOP”.
