A. Springboard/Motivation (Establishing a Activity 1: I Want It
purpose for the lesson)
 Present a pictures to the learners and ask they if who among in the class want
to buy those things.

 Ask learners why they want to buy that things and ask what their problem in
purchasing those things is.

Give each learners a worksheets and let them answer the questions for 30 minutes.

AE/JHS: Write down the different stages of life using the worksheets and list down the
different things you think you will need money for at each stage of life. Examples provided in
the first row.

imagine that they receive a gift of Php 1,000 today.

AE/JHS: Ask: “How much would they spend and what would they spend it on? How much
would they save and what would they save it for? Have learners discuss and make decisions as a
team.

Let them write down in a manila paper the things they will buy and things they will save.
