1. Import analysis data directly from popular analysis engines. The analysis engines supported are
a. Member and node geometry, can we re-frame the points a' & b' by point "A" below?
A. Entire model geometry including the section properties, other specifications assigned to the model.

4. Post reading the data, the software’s in-built intelligence allows it to automatically detect the following
geometrical conditions:
a. Detection of all slabs (enclosed regions) in a plan, even though slabs not modeled,
5. User can set all design parameters and design & detail all elements at the touch of a button
6. User can edit the detailing suggested and alter the specific design of any one member by selecting the
same
7. Post finalization of the design and detailing process the engineer can generate a number of text and
drawing reports
a. Drawing Outputs
i. Layout Drawings.
ii. Detailed drawings in the form of elevations and cross sections / GA drawing.
b. Text reports

Introduction
The RCDC BBS module converts the design and detailing into detailed Bar Bending outputs.
The BBS generated is compliant with the relevant codes of practise and all settings done by the user in
RCDC.

Rebar Tag Manager
Bar tagging refers to the description of rebars in the BBS drawing. RCDC gives user the flexibility to define
his own Bar Tagging system enabling him to control the information that is provided in the drawing.
Bar Tagging system can be uniquely defined for:
1. Longitudinal reinforcement; Top and Bottom
2. Shear reinforcement
3. Face reinforcement
The text string that will be displayed in the drawings can be configured in the Bar Tagging Manager.
User can select:
(i) type of data to be displayed
(ii) order in which it is to be displayed
(iii) define a Prefix or a Suffix
(iv) the separator
Once this is defined a preview of the proposed text is displayed to help finalise the bar tagging.

Geometry Modification
RCDC allows user to modify some geometry of beams and columns to help the user use the actual physical
geometry to generate BB

Settings
Some specific settings can be done for slabs and columns for the generation of accurate BBS. These are in
addition to the ‘Design and Detailing Settings’.
1. Slabs
Options to define preferred anchorage for top and bottom reinforcement at end and continuous supports.
2. Column
