Room Service

1. Telephone rings
 Greet the guest, introduce yourself , Ask
the name of the guest, get the room number
 Take orders ( suggestive selling, repeat
orders, restrictions, ask the time of delivery)
 End the conversation in a courteous way
2. Process the orders (chef, cashier)
3. Get the control sheet (at the cashier)
4. Mis-en-place (include filling up of control
sheet) setting everything in order/in place
5. Get the food (to the chef)-(arrange the food in
the trolley)
6. Go to the Captain waiter (for checking of
food to be served and control sheet)
7. Get the bill at the cashier
8. Deliver food
 Knock the door 3x, greet the guest
9. Serve the food ( ask the guest his/her
preference in table setting- bed, leave in the
trolley, set in your table)
 Offer additional services (opening of the
curtain, adjusting temperature of aircon,
opening the TV set)
10. Present the bill (ask how the guest will
settle the bill, credit card, room charge, cash)
11. Get payment, thank the guest, ASK TIME
TO CLEAR SOILED DISHES
12. Cashier, present the payment
13. Buss-out (knock 3x,as always)
14. Clear soiled dishes, ask feedback, bid
goodbye
