I- OBECTIVES
A. Content Standards
The learners demonstrate an understanding of the core concepts and theories in bread and
pastry production.
B. Performance Standards
The learners independently demonstrate core competencies in preparing and producing
bakery products.

PREPARE BAKERY PRODUCTS

Objectives:
1. Identify ingredients of banana bread;
2. Select appropriate tools in preparing banana bread;
3. Measure ingredients accurately;
4. Bake banana bread;
5. Give importance in following the exact measurement of ingredients in a recipe.

IV- PROCEDURE
A. Pre-Learning Activities
Drill: Picture Talk ( The students will identify the specific name of a bake product that is
shown in the picture)
B. Activity
Learning Task 1: Teacher Demonstration and discussion on the ingredients and steps in
baking banana bread. Or (video presentation in baking banana bread)
Learning Task 2: Group Activity
Group 1: identify the tools used in the preparation & baking of banana bread.
Group 2: List down the four liquid ingredients of banana bread.
Group 3: List down the four dry ingredients of banana bread.
Group 4: List down the 1st 4 steps in preparing or baking banana bread
Group 5: List down the 3 last steps in preparing or baking banana bread
C. Analysis
One representative from each group who will report to the class their group output from
the group activity.
D. Abstraction: Ask the learner
1. What are the ingredients in baking banana bread?
2. State the steps in preparing and baking banana bread?
3. What are the tools in preparing banana bread?
4. Why we need to measure accurately the ingredients and follow steps in baking?
D. Application
Actual Demonstration: The students are group into two to bake banana bread.
IV-EVALUATION
Students are evaluated using the rubrics.
V- ASSIGNMENT
Make an album of at least 10 bakery products with the picture, ingredients and steps.
