We were assigned and completed our 10 days of Work Immersion at

Pasar Employees Multipurpose Cooperative (PEMC) located at Brgy. Libertad,
Isabel Leyte. An organization that was owned and operated by former and
current regular employees of Philippine Associated Smelting and Refining
Corporation (PASAR).

With this activity called Work Immersion that I joined for the first time. I
fully understood why it was called an "immersion." It was to throw or absorb
ourselves into the situation of others. At first I was very nervous and a bit excited.
Nervous because it was new to me and also new environment to work with. I was
also excited to learn new things and to measure my knowledge and patience.

Being with the people in a different environment was very difficult and it
needs you lot of adjustments. For almost 10 days of doing Work Immersion, I
could say that it was such a great adventure. It was a great experience for us
students and I will treasure it forever. I have learned a lot of new terminologies
related to business and accounting field. This was the first time that I was like an
employee. Especially when I was asked to wear the PEMC jacket. I've never
imagined such thrilling event in my life. All of the struggles, sacrifices, laughter
and happiness that we've shared, made my experience truly amazing. By helping
one and another we can achieve our goals.
