PRE-LESSON: (10 minutes)


1. Pupils guess the meaning of highlighted words in the text.
2. Teacher asks them to name the device in the picture.
3. Pupils are to work in groups of four to brainstorm for at least 3 computer-related words.
4. Pupils write their responses on the whiteboard.
5. Teacher calls out pupils randomly to give feedback based on their group discussion.
6. Teacher shares today’s learning objective and success criteria to pupils before moving on to the next stage of the lesson.

LESSON DEVELOPMENT: (40 minutes)


1. Pupils are to work in pairs and read the questions in Activity C where students guess meaning of highlighted words.
(Wait Time)
2. Teacher collects responses from the whole class.
3. Teacher poses another question for further class discussion. *Complementary Skill*
4. Pupils are to read the questions on Activity D and teacher checks pupils’ understanding by asking them to write True or False
for the statements given based on the text read
5. In pairs, pupils are to compare their answers.
6. Pupils compare and share their answers with their own group members before teacher discusses the answers as a class.
