Methodology

Research Design

This study applies a subjective research and an evaluative methodology in order

to know the readiness and awareness of students in ANHS in case of emergency

situation. Plotting this study will show a genuine result from the perspective of the

student’s alertness.

Additionally, this research study will be a small process to be started and will

soon to be a useable fact for gathering information that will be shared to everyone for

them to be knowledgeable of this kind of calamity.

Population and sampling

The respondents of this investigation are the students of Alabel National High

School.

The investigation incorporates 20 random respondents. The researchers will have

interviewed 10 random understudies (10 students from senior high school and 10 from

junior high school). In this investigation, non-likelihood examining technique is being

utilized as this exploration is evaluative. Standard testing is being utilized on the

grounds that it can shape an example including individuals that speak to populace and

are picked in accordance with characteristics.


The students of Alabel National High School will be the main subject for the

Research Paper conducted by the researchers related to the preparedness of student

from Alabel National High School on Earthquakes. The information was gathered by

giving the respondents a specific question about preparedness from earthquakes. the

information was gathered in any case, just to have enough important outcomes.

Research Instrument

An organized and straightforward readily surveys that enables the analysis to have

adaptability in gathering the information.

The specialists wished to precisely secure information and accordingly, all meetings

will be listed by using notes. After the surveys will be apprehend and examined, it will be

wrecked for classification purposes.

Locale of The Study

Alabel National High School

ANHS is located at the Municipality of Alabel, Province of Sarangani. The school

land area was estimated to be 2 hectares with a 3000 number students studying for

their future. It is one of the most populated high school in the municipality and most of

the students are working hard for their future. A competitive school with competitive

students as well.
Research Procedure

Preliminary Survery

In starting the study, the researcher will be conducting a survey to twenty (20)

random students of ANHS about “Preparedness of the Students of Alabel National

High School on Earthquakes” related questions. The researcher will ask the

respondents about the topic to know the extent of their knowledge about the calamity.

Additionally, the researcher will ask some government offices about the study for the

researcher to gather more information.

Data gathering

To accomplished the study, the researcher will be handed some questionnaire to

the twenty (20) random respondents to know their answers and understanding about

the calamity. Afterward, the researcher will gather all the answered questionnaire to

record the data.

Analysis and Evaluation

In later time, the researcher will record the data gathered, analyze and evaluate

the answers to interpret the topic smoothly. In this stage of procedure will give the topic

a simplest way explaining the overall conclusion of the study.


Research Time Frame

As the researcher stated the study, it will last for 2 months. Furthermore, the

experiment will be conducted every other break time of school hours, for us the

researcher can also attend the class session. Lastly, it will begin in the last quarter of

Senior High School time frame of the semester in Alabel National High School.

Methodological Assumptions

Methodological suppositions comprise of the presumptions made by the scientist

with respect made by the researchers with respect to the techniques utilized during the

time spent subjective research.

This research method will be part of the study since we don’t know what might

the situation of the respondents in the time the researcher will conduct the survey.

Moreover, this method will become optional for this study, it might be use or not. This

assumption will depend on the researcher itself.
