 Introduction
• The COVID 19 Pandemic
outbreak had layoffs and
suspensions of workers have
skyrocketed. On the other
hand, the suspension work of
students will affect them to
maximize their time for
studying module activities,
having self-care, and only
focusing on online classes.
• According to Bun C. et.al
(n.d), Working students have
been deprived of their
education since before the
epidemic. Students working
while doing academic tasks or
studying at the same time is
common nowadays. In
addition, the challenges in
doing simultaneous work and
study are to manage the heavy
study load.
 The following research questions are addressed in this study:

 The purpose of our study is for we researchers to
investigate and develop answers to the study’s impact of
simultaneous work and study on academic standing, as well as to
learn about the academic standing of TVL Grade 12 senior high
school students.

 The main focus of this research is to know the positive and

level for this research is Grade 12 majoring in Maritime under
the TVL strand. To exactly know the respondents that we
researchers will acquire is, by using Slovin’s formula. The
respondents of the study are randomly selected from each
section of TVL grade 12 level using descriptive design.
 The Importance of this study is to present the Impact of
Significance Simultaneous work and study on the academic standing of TVL
of the Study grade 12 Maritime students of PNTC colleges and it is also the
key to the success of a particular school's and its benefits to the
students, instructors, parents, school, and for future researchers .

 • According to Burgos et al. (2020), Working as a student
REVIEW OF comes with a lot of responsibilities. Young adults and
RELATED grownups who are fortunate but willing. Not all parents have
the money to send and help their children. As a result, of the
LITERATURE students at the school, some students are forced to work to
support themselves.

• According to Nucum (2018), working students have struggled

with the concept of "work-study balance" for many years.
While there may be a variety of factors on working and
studying at the same time, the financial crisis remains the
primary reason why students work part-time. Running from
school to work and juggling academic requirements and side
hustles while maintaining a family, social, or love life is a
truly daunting task.

 • In this study we used quantitative research is the process of
gathering and interpreting numerical data is referred to as data

• As the research design, we utilize descriptive research which
intends to present facts concerning the nature and status of a
situation.
• We researchers acquired data from both Alpha and Bravo Grade 12
students that enrolled in the TVL Maritime Specialization program
at PNTC Colleges by using Slovin’s formula.
• For the sampling frame, we are using a simple random sample to
randomly select a subset of a population. In this sampling method,
each member of the population has an exactly equal chance of
being selected.
• We researchers choose questionnaire as our research instrument
because of multiple series of questions, questionnaire is helpful to
gather data that can be collected relatively, quickly and obtain a
large amount of information.
 • Phase 1. Preparation Stage. We researchers asked school
Data principals from PNTC colleges to agree to conduct a survey

Procedure
• Phase 2. Data Gathering Stage. We researchers personally
distributed questionnaires to the Alpha and Bravo sections of
TVL12 Maritime Students at PNTC College. Respondents
also responded to the questionnaire on the day the
researchers distributed the questionnaire.

• Phase 3. Data Analysis Stage. After collecting all the data,

we researchers compiled, organized, computed, analyzed,
and interpreted the data from the sections of TVL 12
Maritime Students.
