2 PM Checklist Procedures
2.1 Preparation
PM Discuss past performance with customer.
PM Check detailed event log.
PM Make necessary upgrades.
PM Check that the UPS sustains power when unplugged.
PM Clean the main fan filter.
PM Replace dilution well insert.
PM Verify the dilution well bottom position configuration.
PM Clean the trackball.
PM Check the –12 VDC voltage at test points 7and 6. The ac‐
ceptable range is –11.88 to –12.12.

2.2.2 Checking the Voltage at the Sample Carousel PCB
PM Check the 5 VDC voltage at connector J2, pins 1 and 2. The
acceptable range is 5.00 to 5.20.
2.2.3 Checking the Voltages at the PMT Power Supply
PM Board SMN 10484630: Check the voltage at connectors J1,
J3, J5A/B and pin 1 (–5 VDC). The acceptable range is 4.85
to 5.15.

2.11.1 Replacing Filters and Tubing
PM Replace water and probe wash in-line filters.
PM Replace waste bottle tubing assembly.
PM Lubricate waste bottle valve O-ring.
PM Replace dilution well drain tubing and elbow fitting.
PM Check all tubes for kinks and tighten all fittings.
PM Check all tubing within component deck for discoloration
and possible occlusion. Replace if necessary.
2.11.2 Replacing the Vacuum Pump Trap
PM Replace waste trap kit.
2.11.3 Verifying the Vacuum Pump Function
PM Check operation of vacuum pump and waste tubing angle.
2.11.4 Turning on Clot Detection
PM Confirm clot detection is ON.
2.11.5 Checking the Transducer Waveform
PM Check the transducer waveform.
