Government Concerned that Covid-19 Transmission is Still Massive

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The government states that the number of patients detected
positive for Covid-19 has increased by 109 cases again. With the addition of 109 positive cases,
there are a total of 1155 co-19 cases in Indonesia. Of these, 59 patients recovered and 102
patients died. Government spokesman for the handling of corona Achmad Yurianto rate, this still
large increase indicates that the transmission of the Corona virus still occurs in daily community
activities.
"We are still concerned about this condition because it is proven that transmission is still
happening, that positive cases are still in the community, that close contact is still taking place,"
Yurianto said at a press conference at the BNPB Office, Jakarta, Saturday (03/28/2020).
Yurianto again appealed to the public to take preventive measures to avoid transmission
of the Corona virus. In accordance with the government's request, people are asked not to leave
their homes if there is no urgent need.
The community is also asked to always keep a distance of about one to one and a half
meters from other people.
"Let's stay together at home, be productive at home, be able to work from home, study at
home, worship at home," Yuri said.
Yuri also appealed to the community to continue to maintain health and cleanliness. One
of the most important is washing hands with soap. "Because the data show the most transmission
is precisely because of the intermediaries of the hands," continued Yuri.

Spokesman Covid-19: Corona Virus Destroyed Affected by Soap

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - Government Spokesperson for the handling of Covid-19

Achmad Yurianto urged the public to be diligent in washing their hands using soap in preventing
the transmission of the corona virus. According to him, soap can destroy the Covid-19 virus.
"There is no need to look for something difficult. Because scientifically it has been
proven, that this virus is very vulnerable and easily destroyed if exposed to soap, exposed to
detergents," Yurianto said at a press conference at BNPB Office, Friday (27/3).
According to him, hand washing does not have to be done with a handsanitizer.
Especially lately the handsanitizer is quite difficult to obtain, and even then with a soaring price.
"So there is no reason not to wash your hands because there is no handsanitizer. Wash
your hands with soap, every day there must be and it is not difficult to find soap. This then
becomes important," he said.
Implementing a clean lifestyle by washing hands, he said, is very important. Because the
spread of this virus can occur even though there is no direct contact between humans.
He gave an example, when someone who is positive infected with Covid-19, coughs or
sneezes, then a spark called a droplet about items that are often used together.
"In mass transportation, for example handrails when standing, doors, railing stairs. This
happens then is not accompanied by washing hands with soap and directly eating and drinking
before washing hands," he said.
It is known that the number of positive patients infected with the corona virus in
Indonesia has increased significantly. Of that number, the death toll reached 87 people, with the
number recovering 46 people.
"Let's together keep a distance of 2 meters, wash our hands with soap and running water.
Hopefully our hard work is carried out in synergy with the government and the community to
overcome the spread of Covid-19," he said.
