“BARANGAY AT KAPULISAN DAANG HANAY SA KATAHIMIKA’T KAUNLARAN


(BARKADAHAN)”

B. PROJECT DETAILS

1. Brief Description of Project

The Barangay at Kapulisan Daang Hanay sa Katahimika’t Kaunlaran


(BARKADAHAN) is an effective anti-criminality strategy contributing a notable
operational accomplishments and significant decrease of crimes.

2. What are the specific needs, issues or problems being addressed by the
project?

The following are the things being addressed by this project:


 Serious implementation of the Municipal Ordinances and other related laws to
maintain the peace and order and safety in every Barangay.
 To ensure safety and security of every individual in the street especially during
night time against lawless elements.
 To prevent the occurrence of street crimes, such as, Mauling, Gang Wars, Child
Abuse, and Street Level Peddling.
 To contribute and promote socio-economic development of Pateros.

3. What are the Unit Scorecard Objectives supported by this project?

This is under the Process Excellence perspective with the objective, “improve
Community safety awareness through community-oriented and human rights-based
policing”

4. Is this project part of a larger PNP program? Describe.

Yes. This project is in line with the PNP PATROL Plan 2030 which aims to
Improve community safety awareness through community-oriented and human rights-
based policing by being highly capable, effective and credible police service working in
partnership with a responsible community towards the attainment of a safer place to
live, work and do business.

5. What are the outputs of the project? (Contribution to Lead Measures)

Arrest of Law violators/Wanted Persons

6. What are the expected outcomes? (Contributions to Lag Measures)

Safe and sound community.

7. What is the expected impact? (Contribution to Unit Vision)

The town of Pateros envisions a better and safer place to live, work and do
business.
8. What will be the implication/s if the project is not implemented?

The following will not be addressed if this project is not implemented:

 Arrest of Law violators and Wanted persons;


 Occurrence of street crimes, such as, Mauling, Gang Wars, Child Abuse,
and Street Level Peddling.

9. What are the possible risks or challenges that may be encountered in


implementing the project?

The following are the possible risks or challenges that may be encountered
during the implementation of the project:

Encounter of dangerous armed Drug addicts during operation.

C. PROJECT SCHEDULE AND IMPLEMENTATION

2. Evaluation (Relevance, effectiveness and efficiency in attaining outputs, projected


outcomes and projected impacts).

The aforesaid team shall report at the police station at exactly 7:30 O’clock in the
evening for head count and reiterations of SOPs to be conducted by the Assistant Chief
of Police for Operations (ACOPO).

Right after the briefing, the team on board patrol cars and motorcycle shall
immediately scour the streets, Internet Café and Videoke Bars. Apprehended violators
shall be brought to the police station for documentation and investigation.

While, Curfew violators will be released to their respective parents or guardians


after a few hours of counseling session, while those apprehended for drinking liquor will
be temporarily put at the lock-up cell until the dawn breaks.

Corresponding reports/UDOR shall be prepared by the SDO to be submitted at


the Southern Police District (SPD) copy furnish the concerned Barangay Chairman,
DSWD, Office of the Mayor for reference in the creation of programs/projects by the
LGU.
