Subject: PVD DES - Ultimate load requirement for sling/shackles

Phuc,
I’d like to let you to confirm the break force requirement for lifting sling and ultimate load requirement for shackles from
PVD.

Normally the ultimate load of shackles should be 4~5times of working load limit.
But I remembered you mentioned 7times at the beginning of FEED.

This will impact the design of the lifting padeyes.

Please double check and confirm.

Thanks a lot.

Best Regards,

Edward Han 韩学武| Senior Engineering Supervisor
