A. The teacher will ask about the topic last meeting.

T- What was our topic last meeting all about?


S- It’s all about Impromptu Speech.
T- Very Good! What do you mean by Impromptu Speech?
S- Students will give their opinions about Impromptu Speech.
T- After giving their opinions the teacher proceed to the activity.

The teacher will pick 4 students to arrange the jumble word. After the student arranged the
jumble word, the teacher will ask idea to the student about the word. The jumble words are

B. After giving their opinion, the teacher will discuss about Journalism, journalistic writing,
and using active and passive in journalistic writing.

A. The class will be divided into 5 groups.


B. Each group will choose only one among the types of journalistic writing. After choosing,
Activity the group will make news according to their chosen types of journalistic.
C. They are given only 5 minutes to make news and 2 minutes each group to present their
work in front of the class.

Analysis 1. What is Journalistic Writing?


 is a style of writing that is used to report news stories in a variety of media
formats. Obvious characteristics of the style include short, simple sentences
and paragraphs that present objective stories based on facts.
2. What are types of Journalistic Writing?
 News Story- stories about an event, person, place with an unbiased
perspective.
 Opinion Article/ Editorial Article- use a persuasive style of writing that
includes personal anecdotes and rhetorical techniques.
 Feature Article- is the art of telling stories.
 Sports News Article- is a form of writing that reports on sporting topics
and competitions.
3. What is journalism?
 is a form of writing that tells people about things that really happened, but
that they might not have known about already.

A. Why is it important to know the types of Journalistic Writing?

A. Each student will make a collage about all types of journalistic writing using Newspaper.
