    MINUTES OF MEETING (BRIGADA ESKWELA PLANNING TEAM)

    Date: February 10, 2020


    Time: 1:30 PM
    Venue: SBM Room

    The meeting started with a prayer led by Mr. Ian Trenia and formally opened by the Brigada
    Eskwela focal person and presiding officer, Mrs. Jenilyn Derramas. She also initiated to discuss the
    following agenda:

    a. Possible stakeholders for Brigada Eskwela 2019-2020


    The planning team suggested possible stakeholders who will give monetary assistance or manpower
    services for the week-long Brigada Eskwela this coming May 2020. And here are the possible donors and
    assigned teachers who will distribute the solicitation letter:

    Krizza S. Gales- Tau Gamma Phi, Dunkin Donuts, BCBP, Rainbird Trading/South Sand, LGU

    Felyzia Junamy Laforteza- One Network Bank, DBP, Land Bnak, ICC, LGU
    Glenn Lacuna- East West Bank, Alano and Sons, Habal-Habal Drivers’ Association, Quadro Ocho

    Sotico Jr. Micabalo- Red Cross, Eagles, 4 Brothers, La Salle Academy, IMCC, SMPIS Alumni Association,
    Cong. Siao, PLDT, Madelicious Bakeshop

    Shiela Marie Daguisonan- YAPIS, MSU-IIT Kasama, City Engineer’s Office, Hon. Sol Bacsarpa, JCI,
    Republic, PNP, PHILMICO, Granex

    Ligaya Lluisma- Kim Guan, Crown Paper, National Bookstore

    b. SMPIS Brigada Eskwela Clean-up Drives


    In preparation for the Brigada Eskwela, there will be clean-up drives or “Pahina” which will be
    participated by the parents of SMPIS students from all grade levels. And here are the schedule and
    assigned year level:

    February 21, 2020- All Junior High School


    February 28, 2020- Kindergarten to Grade 2
    March 6, 2020- Grades 3 and 4
    March 27, 2020- Grades 5 and 6
    c. Brigada Eskwela school activities and working committees
    Aside from preparing the school environment, classrooms, and facilities for the incoming school
    year, Brigada Eskwela also aims to promote unity and camaraderie among its teachers, parents, and
    stakeholders. Therefore, there are proposed activities and assigned working committees for the said
    program and here are the following:

    Day 1 (Headed by Jenilyn Derramas and Marie Cris Dela Cerna )


    *Opening Program
    *Trimming and Disposing of trees
    *Roof cleaning
    *Pruning
    *Table skirting
    *Zumba
    *Photo booth

    Day 2 (Headed by Doreen Abucay, Krizza Gales, Princess Langilao)


    *Repainting of outside walls
    *Wall cleaning
    *Pruning
    *Repair/repainting of flower boxes
    *Sweeping
    *Rug making
    *Volleyball friendly game
    *Fun run

    Day 3 (Headed by Sotico Micabalo , Glenn Lacuna, and Joana Gallon)


    *Continuation of the cleaning activities
    *Soap making
    *Pot making (tentative)
    *Volleyball friendly game championship

    Day 4 (Headed by Junamy Laforteza, Ian Trenia, and Johaira Madid)


    *Parlor games
    * Continuation of the cleaning activities

    Day 5 (Headed by Doreen Abucay, Shiela Daguisonan, Princess Langilao)


    *Alay Pasalamat
    *Boodle fight

    Day 6 Closing Program and mass

    The meeting was adjourned at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.
