Range
The set of all ‘y’ values we get from the function y = f(x), by substituting all
x - values from domain in the function is called as Range.

Procedure for finding out range of function


For the function y = f(x)
1) Express x explicitly in terms of y
2) Find the possible values for y (like domain for x)
3) Eliminate value(s) of y w.r.t x, if applicable

x - values from domain in the function is called as Range.
