Dear WESD committee,
My name is Lillie and I’m pleased to be applying for the position of a Temporary Guest Translator at Washington Elementary School District. I was ecstatic at finding this opening at phoenix.jobing.com and feel that my skills and studies make me a perfect fit for the role.
As a junior at ASU in the Asia studies department, I have
experience in conducting research and compiling written analyses of my findings. My time studying abroad in South Korea allowed me to dive deep in the culture and focus on the language and adaptations. Furthermore, my work as a sales representative with Southwestern Advantage required extensive time management and problem-solving skills, which would prepare me for deadlines of being a Temporary Guest Translator at Washington Elementary School District.
Some highlights from my relevant experiences include:
• Over 400+ hours’ worth of Korean language learning • Working 75-80-hour workdays running my own business
What draws me most to WESD is your work in international
students’ inclusivity. Having learned Korean both in Arizona and in Korea, I believe I can lend some expertise to your efforts in translation for international students. I’ve enclosed my resume, which further details my education and experience. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss my skills and qualifications in person at your earliest convenience. Please reach me by email at lillie.murray3@gmail.com or by phone number at +82-10-9613-6335. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
