REACTION ABOUT THE MOVIE “INSIDE OUT”
I love how the movie flows because it is suitable for all ages. So, I can easily connect that movie
to myself because the emotions that Rylie have also the emotions I have felt in different situations. The
emotion “Anger” in the movie really depicts how most of us gets easily felt mad and being slow temper
most especially if the situation is against our will. The “fear” also depicts the true meaning of that
emotion especially every time that most of us are going to meet new people. That situation can be
connected to the word “hiya” in Filipino traits. The “disgust” is conveying how people being embarrass
and disappointed in the situation that is not happen the way we want it to be. But, the highlight of the
story and the most overrated feeling of the most of us are the “sadness” and “joy”. These two emotions
are the most dominant emotions the we feel that’s why we can say that our emotion is battle between
being sad or being joyful. As I watched the movie, I really felt embarrassed to the character of “sadness”
because it always broke the happiness that Rylie felt. Just like as on the real-life situation, we always see
“sadness” as the killjoy. It always broke the best emotion that we can have and this is our happiness or
“Joy”. The emotion “Joy” plays a vital role in this movie. It is the master controller on Rylie’s emotions
because Rylie considered as one of the joyful kids. Until one day, she lost her happiness because of
sadness. But what I’ve learned to this movie is showing that you are happy is not considered that you
are okay. Because, most of us always choose to keep our sadness privately and being happy in the public
without knowing that letting your sadness shown by others is not being weak. Sometimes, letting your
emotions out is the best way to relieve the pain. And that is the most underrated role of “sadness” in
our life.
