Amendment No. 05 on 02 August 2014 to Quality Procedure Manual (JMELPL/QPM/01) on page no.
09-13 by adding the “Procedure for Control of External originated documents” in procedure for
control of document as detailed below:
1. PURPOSE
To define the methods of maintaining and controlling documents of external origin at the
facilities of J.M. Enviro Lab Pvt. Ltd. (JMELPL)
Documents of external origin may include national and international standards i.e IS, APHA,
NIOSH, OSHA, USEPA, USDA etc., manufacturer’s manuals, equipment software, and many
more. External documents will be reviewed for context to determine their applicability in the
relevant field or branches of quality system. This review will be conducted by the Quality
Manager/Technical Manager and will be controlled by documenting, as appropriate, the
title, document number (if any), most recent and/or approved revision/edition number and
year of publication.
If updated version is available then review on updated version will be conducted by the
Quality Manager/Technical Manager to check its applicability, suitability, effectiveness.
After all the evaluation if document is need to update, the previous copy will be remove from
service and will place in obsolete record file with stamping “OBSOLETE” in blue ink and
updated version will be identified and control the updated version as per procedure before to
use.
