We use “used to” to talk about activities or habits that took place in the past, but today
they are over.

Hi! My name is Jorge, when I was a child; I used to go to my grandparents´ house on


vacation. I sued to ride my bike, sing and dance Michael Jackson´s music. I didn´t use
to play video games with my cousins. My father used to buy me some chocolate to eat
every afternoon after having dinner. My mother used to drive my father´s car to take me
to my grandparents´ house. At night, I used to read some adventure books, listen rock
music and study French. Every morning, my grandfather and I used to walk to pick the
cows into the court. Later, we used to drink coffee and milk with bread.
