1. Execution Support

1.1. Infrastructure Requirements

One 10’ x 10’ office is provided at site with a cupboard to keep the manuals
catalogues files etc and also to keep some minor equipments, tools kit etc in the
room.

Additional facilities like site shed for repairs of vibrators needles, engines etc will
be augmented as and when required considering the project duration and
deployment of machineries. All sites will be provided with the necessary tool kit
as per the annexure enclosed at the time of mobilisation of new project sites.

1.2. Operation & maintenance

a. A P&M supervisor will be posted at all the major project sites. However
for minor or tapering sites, it will be managed by technicians / mechanics
under the direct control of Regional P&M Incharges.
b. Regular maintenance of all the machinery will be done by the maintenance
crew posted at sites.
c. Preventive maintenance will be carried out periodically as per schedule
drawn and will be carried out at the site.
d. The system of fixing the operating crew to the individual heavy machinery
permanently has been found to improve the performance and reduce the
cost on maintenance. They will be sent along with machine while transfer
from one site to another.
