1. Project Planning: Implementation and Control of Risk

Task Method of Control


Manpower Deployment The Project Management & Coordination Team will ensure
that all workers deployed by Technigroup at the site, including
sub-contracted workers, have relevant site experience with
handling, delivering and installing loose furniture
Sequence of Operations The Project Management & Coordination Team will ensure
that all works carried out at the site shall be guided by and
comply with the sequence of operations submitted to the
Owner.
Floor-to-floor scope & The Project Management & Coordination Team will
Timing communicate daily through the open interfacing channels,
with the Main Contractor, SO, Architect and other sub-
contractors to ensure that the floor-by-floor scope & timings of
all deliveries by Technigroup are properly coordinated with
those of the Main Contractor and other sub-contractors

2. Material Procurements : Storage Management

3. Product Design Support: Used of Software

Software Method of Control


AutoSketch  Part list cutting size determine during construction of
shop drawings.
 Reflects important details.
 List the type of lamination finish on plywood.
 Strong Support to WoodWop Software.
Schelling Superplan  Support Schelling saw panel to generate low wastage
cutting program.
 Prepare Edge Banding detailing on each panel.
 Generate finish size after edge banding.
 Cutting List clip file is created for Production process.
Woodwop  Drilling of furniture for easy assembly.
 Drilling program call out to drill on different panel.

program is correct.

4. Manufacturing Arrangement: Implementation and Control of Process

Task Method of Control


Clip File  Cover page to indicate the flow of machinery process for
each type of furniture.
 Parts Cutting list and edge banding are indicated.
 Shop drawings on finish furniture with details of boards,
surface finishes, edging thickness and colour, special
detailing and list of hardware used.
Production Schedule  All Machines has work daily work schedule to follow.
 Section Leader to schedule is closely follows.
 Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair
breakdown machine.
Operators  Only Trained operators are allowed to operate the
machine safely.
Quality Check  Operators are QC trained to ensure quality products are
maintained.
Machineries  Routine maintenance for each machine.
 Daily cleaning of each machine by the operators.
Breakdown of Machines  Routine maintenance for each machine.
 Maintenance Engineer to repair breakdown machine
immediately.
 Machine manufacturer Engineers are tap for unsolvable
machine issue.
Palletize panels  All Work-in-progress panels must be palletized for easy
and fast movement.

5. Furniture Assembly: Implementation and Control of Process

Task Method of Control


Work Safety  All Installer are work-safe trained especially on handling
of tooling.
Fixing of Hardware  Training programs are put in place to train all workers.
 Section Leader will oversee and double check all
hardware is correctly tight.
Assembly Schedule  All Installers have work schedule to follow.
 Section Leader to ensure schedule is closely followed.
Quality Check  Installers are QC trained to ensure quality products are
maintained.
House Keeping  All Tooling and excess hardware must put back to its
original location and store.
Defective Tooling  Defective tools will be pass to Maintenance Engineer to
repair is possible.

6. Protection Measures: Implementation and Control of Process

Work Safety  All Packers are work-safe trained especially on handling
of tooling.
Quality Check  Packers are QC trained to ensure quality products have
achieve during cleaning.
Protection of Furniture  Carton Box up for Small Size furniture.
 Corrugated L-Paper to protect corners and edges of
bulky furniture before individual stretch film wrap.
Palletize Furniture  Safe stacking of furniture on pallet.
 Stretch film warps at least 3 layers on the furniture to the
pallet.

Hazardous Task – Risk Method of Control


Construction Site PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including hard helmet,
safety boots, and gloves will be worn at all times
Weather conditions and All deliveries to site will be made with covered trucks 2400 mm
protection of goods at site wide, including tailgate, and all delivered items palletized to
minimize the unloading time. In case of bad weather and resulting
harsh site conditions, the Project Coordinators, QC team leaders
and the receiving team leaders will ensure that all precautions
have been taken for protection of delivered goods and also for
maintenance of site cleanliness per normal standards
High-Floor Access Access to the High Floors of the buildings will be secured through
correct use of the Firemen’s Lift only and the lift shall be used with
the aid of the Site Lift Operator at all times
Corridor Access To ensure only authorized access at all times, the corridor access
paths to the room will be marked per their locations on the Floor
Layouts by the Project Coordinators and copies with the delivery
and site access schedule shall be handed to the Delivery and
Installation Teams to comply strictly
Protection of Flooring & Delivery of Loose Furniture on the Building will be done entirely by
Walls Padded Trolleys with Soft Castors, to protect the flooring & walls
of the delivery site respectively
Fixing of Furniture All fabrication and fitting of semi-finished components of the
furniture were carried out entirely off-site at the Technigroup
Factory and hence, the scope of works on site will be restricted to
delivering, moving, installing and unpacking of loose furniture.
Lifting & Positioning of Palette Jacks will always be employed to unload palettes from the
Heavy Furniture delivery lorries at the unloading bay of the sites and padded
trolleys with soft castors will be typically used to transport all
goods delivered to site. In the event of manual lifting required, the
lifters shall only handle the furniture wearing adequate gripping
gloves, employ safe lifting techniques to prevent bodily injuries
and all lifts shall compulsorily avoid tilting or slanting the objects in
any manner which might cause risk of harm to themselves or
other personnel working at site.
Site Cleanliness Regular checks will be carried out by the Site Coordinator and QC
Team Leader to ensure that the delivery and installation area shall
be kept clean at all times
Loose rubbish All pieces of furniture are to be packed and stored in shrink
wrapping with corner protectors and/or sealed carton boxes until
such time as the furniture are positioned and unwrapped in the
allocated rooms, when the wrapping shall be removed
Removal of Packing At the time of clearance of personnel from each completed room,
Materials all packing material (shrink wrap, carton boxes, and corner
protectors) will be cleared from the rooms entirely. The Project
Coordinator and QC team leaders will ensure that the rooms are
handed back to the owner in good condition as clean as when
they were received by Technigroup.

8. Delivery Strategy (High-Rise): Site Control

Risk Method of Control


Mandatory Safety All employees will hold valid Mandatory Safety Training
qualification (Ministry Of Manpower – Safety and
Orientation Course (SOC) Training and Certification, as
well as any other safety training pertinent to site, as
mandated by Main Contractor)
Inspection of equipment All equipment such as, palette jack, trolleys, and hand
tools for removal of packaging will be regularly inspected
before commencement of work
Certification Copies of all Safety Certificates for Technigroup
employees, as well as workers sub-contracted by
Technigroup will be submitted before commencing work
Awareness The Architect, Main Contractor and Owner shall be made
aware of all potential dangers and risks throughout the
contract

9. AFTER-SALES SERVICE: : METHOD OF CONTROL

Task Method of Control


Pre-Handover of Site The Projects Management and Coordination team will be
present at and coordinate the pre-handover walk through
of completed site with the Main Contractor and Owner. All
standards with regards to cleanliness and proper order of
the site will be fully complied with.
Adjustment and Re-positioning The Projects Management and Coordination team shall
ensure that any adjustment and re-positioning of furniture
prior to the final handover of site will be attended to, at the
request of and as instructed by the Main Contractor and
Owner
Documents at Handover of The Projects Management and Coordination team will be
Site responsible for fulfilling all document submissions required
before handover of the site.
Defects Handling Technigroup’s policy is to carry out immediate 1-for-1
exchange with items reported defective on site. The repair
work on faulty items will be done on a later date in
Technigroup’s factory.
Service Calls Technigroup and its project management team are
committed to providing excellent post-sales service for
attending to fulfilling all service calls at the request of the
client and owner.
