Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the pupils are expected to

1. Identify animals that live on land, on water and on both land and water.

2. Give examples of animals that live on land, on water and both on land and

water; and

3. Explain ways on how to show kindness to animals.

Materials
Pictures, realia, strips, box, charts

Procedures/Instructions A. Review

Let the pupil recall the sounds of different animals.

Let them sing the song “Kitty, Kitty meow”

B. Motivation

Show pictures of different animals in different habitats.

Let the students describe each pictures.

Ask: Where does this animal live?

C. Presentation

Today we are going to find out what animals live on land, on water and

both on land and water.

F. Application

Group Activity:

Let each group get the realia of animals according to habitat indicated on

the chart. Put the realia on the box on the other table. The group to finished first

will get a reward.

Evaluation Raise your right hand if the animal lives on land, left hand if the animal lives on

water and both hands if the animal lives on land and water.
Application Draw and animal for each number

1. An animal that lives on land

2. An animal that lives on water

3. An animal that lives both on land and on water.
