Solution:
Out first task in this problem is the value of “a”. If this value is less than 150mm then it can be analyzed simply
as rectangular beam (since the tension concrete is totally ignored). If the value exceeds 150 mm, then it has to
be analyzed as a non-rectangular section.

Let us compute the moment capacity of the beam if a= 150 mm.
