PROCEDURES
4.1 Introductory Activity MOL (prayer and checking of attendance)
5 minutes Review of the previous lesson.
-The teacher calls random students and asks to give one plumbing tool and its
function/usage.
4.2 Activity Group Activity
15 minutes The class will be divided into 5 groups. They are given a piece of paper with
the plumbing materials and its description/usage written on it. They are
tasked to locate the materials with the pictures posted by the teacher on the
board. Each group is given only 2 minutes to do it. After all the groups are
done, each group is given 1 minute to have a barter trade to the other group
if they think the correct material is in their hands.
4.3 Analysis Ask the learners the following question:
5 minutes - What is the importance of these plumbing materials?
- How do these plumbing materials affect the work of a plumber?
4.4 Abstraction Discussion on the use of the different materials in plumbing.
10 minutes Ask the learners the following question:
Is it important for a plumber to have a right combination of plumbing tools
and materials? Why or why not?
4.5 Application The class will be divided into 5 groups. The groups are tasked to list the
15 minutes possible plumbing tools and materials used in the following plumbing
systems:
A. Potable Water System
B. Sanitary Drainage System
C. Storm Water Drainage System
