Using the Social Media Account Tracker

This Social Media Account Tracker will let you organize your social media account information, making it easier to coordinate changes wit
employees, and prevent lost access to accounts. To make this template easy to use, this cover sheet will break down how to use each of t
following tabs, highlighting nuances and giving you tips for maximum productivity.

Account Type

The first column in the sheet defines the specifc social media being tracked. If you are using a social account that is not listed in our
template you have the ability to copy the grey row and past below current list, then change the name of the account being tracked.

Email Used

Email used refers to the actual email that was used to set-up and access the accout. For a lot of social media accounts the login is the ema
address. Make things a lot easier to track, by using an email not associated to a person. For example instead of Susan@business.com crea
an email like BusinessNameSM@businessName.com. That way changes in employees have less of an impact on your login capabilities.

Username

The username for most account is the email address, however on some cases there is an actual username. For Twitter login you can use t
email or your username (@business) . Just make sure you take out the @ sign.

Password
This is important! Passwords are like the golden ticket for accounts. By tracking your passwords you will save a lot of time looking for the
password, or retrieving a new one.

Who Has Access?

Do you want everyone in your office to have access to the account, or just a few. This can be done usine admin and content level access
options. Some social media will alow you to appoint access to one individual

Who Has Access?

Social Media like Facebook and LinkedIn have the ability to give other people access with different access levels. For example, you might
want someone to be able to make posts in Facebook to your business page, but you don't wan't to give them the ability to delete, and ed
information about the business on the account. This can be done through the admin section on Facebook. Keep track of who has what
access, you never know when you may need to revoke access. Why wouldnt you just give them the primary email and password to access
your Facebook page? Because if they leave you don't want to have to change all your passwords. If you give them admin access, you can
easily revoke it when needed.

Level of Access
There are different levels of access appointed by each social media account. Facebook gives you the ability to appoint Manager with full
access, Content Manager, Moderator, Advertiser, Inside Analyst. Read More here https://www.facebook.com/help/323502271070625 .
Profile URL
The profile URL is the actual page your account is on. Copy the url and paste it in your sheet.
