INSTRUCTIONS: Answer all questions. Each question carries twenty (20) marks. The total mark for
sections A and B is 60.

SECTION A (20 marks)

1. You have identified the fact that a few children in your class and some who are yet to be enrolled have

positively deviated from the norm. There is therefore the need for you to plan separate programmes so that

these children can as well, be accommodated for them to benefit from teaching and learning. Identify and

explain any five (5) programmes you can put in place for such children to also benefit from teaching and

learning.

SECTION B (40 marks)

2. There are children in your class who complain about problems they are having with their sense of sound

perception. Having gained knowledge about this area of study, classify and explain the problem of these

group of children based on the site of laceration.

3. As a member of the welfare committee in your school, you were tasked to plan for the children with sub

average cognitive functioning according to their need level. State and explain the new four ways by which

the need level of these children can be identified.
